That’s all I seem to be doing lately – working! It’s been a long slog since I got back from my hols in Croatia. Mainly because my managers haven’t been performing the way they should be. But things seem to be sorted now
Unfortunately, I have lost 1 of my managers. She is on loan to another pub for almost 3 weeks, so now I need to put in even MORE hours. At least my pub is looking tip-top again! And business seems to be picking up too – touch wood.
I have tomorrow and Friday off and I’m going to spend all my time with my son, Nicholas, who is on mid-term school holidays. I’m really looking forward to it, ‘cos I don’t get to spend much time with him as he lives with his mum, my estranged wife. To top it all, it’s Halloween this weekend and he is REALLY excited. Well, he is only 6 years old you know!
I’d better get back to work now. I have some people arriving for a meeting…
