A couple of weeks ago, a friend invited me to go and do a 4WD driver training course with him. I thought that it sounded like a bit of fun and it would certainly help with some of the COVID-19 cabin fever so I signed up.
I was sent a manual and a questionnaire to complete ahead of the actual course. The theory actually took longer than I expected, but I did learn a ton of new stuff!
The morning started with coffee and about 3 hours of theory training in an outdoor classroom (no classroom training allowed because of COVID, so we sat around a picnic table on the banks of the Yarra River!)
Next we headed out to the State Forest east of Warburton for the actual driver training. It had been raining for a few days, so the clay was pretty slick and there was plenty of mud and water.
I’ll let the photos tell the story…
