I’ve been very quiet on the blogging front lately. Somehow I’ve been busy at work. But I’ve also been busy at home – we have started shopping for a new place to live!
Yes, we have outgrown our small home and have been looking for somewhere bigger. This meant nights spent with a mortgage broker filling in paperwork for banks, hours of house hunting on RealEstate.com.au and looking into other possibilities.
And it looks like we have come to a decision: we are going to build! We have found some land locally that we can afford without having to sell our first born child and yesterday the bank gave us pre-approval to actually go shopping.
Now to find a reputable builder!
