Count down

As mentioned before, I have quit my job. But, not only am I counting down to my last day at work, I’m also counting down the days to my holiday! Next Friday I finish up my job then Saturday we jet off to South Africa for 19 days!

We’ve organised a sort of wedding reception to catch up with friends and family who are travelling from around the world to grab a bite to eat and have a drink with us. It’s also my 30-something birthday that week, so I reckon a potjiekos is the order of the day! With a Castle or Windhoek or 3! I’ve lost almost 10kg since Christmas but it looks like I’ll be putting it all back on again!

We’ll spend a couple of weeks with my folks in George before driving down to Cape Town for some sight-seeing and wine tasting. Hopefully this time we can make the trip up Table Mountain which was called off 2 years ago due to bad weather!

On the way home, we have a stop off in Singapore. This bit I am really looking forward to! I’ve never been, but heard so many good things about this unique city. I’m desperate to try some of the foods. Not to mention the shopping!

I will keep you up to date as we go.

Only 8 more days, 6 more days of work!

Hi Delwynne, we are looking forward to celebrating with you two next month (March). It is best to leave a job you don’t enjoy. Hope the new one will give you career satisfaction.
    Have a good trip.
    Cheers for now.
