Ride night

I attempted another ride on Tuesday night after fixing Saturday’s two punctures. Needless to say, I got another puncture during the ride. I stripped my wheel right down checking the tyre and the rim but found nothing. So I decided that Thursday night was going to be good for another attempt.

Needless to say, 10 minutes into the ride… psssssssssssssssssssssssss… another puncture! Again, I stripped my wheel right down while changing the tube and there it was! A thin sliver of brown glass! Embedded in the tyre. It must have been rolling around inside the tyre as no 2 punctures were in the same spot.

Having wasted 15 minutes fixing the puncture and let the group go ahead, I set off on my own to do a short section of the Aqueduct Trail. It is the more technical section and is quite fun to ride especially as it was dry last night.

The ride was about 7km long but I rode quite hard, so this morning my legs are a little stiff.

A also tried out my helmet cam on the new helmet and will post the video asap.
