This week’s photo is for those of you who have never been to London, or who love her as much as I do!
This is St Paul’s Cathedral, the world’s second largest cathedral. Built in 1673 by Sir Christopher Wren in a magnificent Baroque style, it is the 4th cathedral to occupy this site. It’s predecessor burnt down in the Great Fire of London.

(8 October 2006 - 17:21)St Paul’s was the first big cathedral I ever visited, and WoW! That’s a nice pic you have of it. If I remember correctly, after WW2 they found an unexploded bomb lodged in the roof of the dome?
