Dear Diary

Well, it’s been pretty quiet around here lately – no fights, no stabbings, no shootings – so I thought I’d bore you with some real life Del…

Most of this week has been spent finishing off my Christmas shopping and wrapping presents. I also sent off the last of my Christmas cards today (so if you don’t get yours, blame Royal Mail!).

I had a meeting with my boss on Tuesday and walked away with a ‘C’ rating as a manager. Not that I care! It really annoys me how the company sets our (ridiculous) targets without any input from managers and then, when we don’t hit them, YOU get the bad rating. NOT the accountant in the office making up the budgets who has never seen the inside of your pub, but YOU, the guy who works the bar every day of the year INCLUDING CHRISTMAS! OK, rant over…

I’ve also decided to buy myself an early Chrissy present. It’s something that I’ve been perving over for ages and I’ve finally decided that due to all this ‘goodwill’ floating about, I should get it now. A new bike! No cuz, NOT the motorised type. Just the one in the picture!

Anyway, this Saturday night I’m going to a Christmas party with some very good friends, so I should have some stories and some pics for you on Sunday.

Have a good weekend.

Chat soon,

Snazzy bike, Cuz and a merry Christmas to you! I sent my cards to SA last week and they all arrived there on Tuesday already – looks like the Elves are doing their job well this year 🙂

Ugh. I couldn’t STAND that budget crap. That’s why I bailed out as a resaurant manager. They seriously have no idea what’s actually going on in the place.

Cool bike. LOVE the phrase, “perving over.” I am so gonna steal that from you. 🙂
