The past week has been a good week for me cache wise – new coins and new cache hides!

Not only did my 3 Aussie GeoCoins arrive on Thursday (they are beautiful), but I also hid six caches on the weekend. The first hide was near Lilydale Lake – “Joshua’s 2nd birthday bash cache “. It is listed on the Geocaching.com.au website.

The other five hides are my Red Earth (Mooroolbark) Series . 1 – 4 contain clues to find #5 (Red Earth Treasure Chest ) which is also listed on Geocaching.com.au

Today I set a personal record for number of caches in a day!

We set out at midday today to break my previous record of seven caches in a day.

My first find was Pirtek (GCNWMC) at 12.30pm. We then moved down to Croydon where Team Roobok all got involved in the caching expedition. Deb and the kids all followed and helped look in the various locations when we arrived.

We took a lunch break around 2.30pm and then did the final two caches in Mooroolbark.

In total we found 9 caches today hitting a total of 78 so far.

Also dropped off the Civil War GeoCoin that I picked up 3 weeks ago.

Other caches today:
Lock 3P
Lake 2
Grandfill
Ready Set Go…
Divided Path
Kwikwak 1
Choof on Down
Beauty, will it last… ?
