Melbourne most livable

Melbourne has done it again! After losing its number one ranking to Vancouver in 2002, the city is back on top in the Global Livability Survey which ranks 140 cities worldwide.

There were 4 Australian cities in the Top 10 – Melbourne at 1, Sydney at 6 and Perth and Adelaide joint 8th.

Melbourne scored 97.5 out of 100, just 0.1 points ahead of Vienna and 0.2 ahead of Vancouver.

The bottom 3 cities were Port Moresby with 38.9 points, Dhaka with 38.7 and Harare on 38.2 points.

London came in at number 53 and the top US city was Honolulu at 26th.
