Home brew

I attempted my first home brew last night. An Australian Pale Ale made by Coopers. If anyone has ever tried a Coopers Pale Ale, you will know that it is delicious!
.
So, I waited ’til the kids were in bed because the only cool place with a constant temperature in the house is in the kids’ bathroom shower! I mixed up the wort (pronounced ‘wurt’) with the boiling water and the sugar, stirred it all up then added the brewer’s yeast. Next I sealed it all up in the air tight fermenter with the airlock in place.
.
Now we need to wait a few days before possibly bottling. Another 2 weeks after the bottling process, and it should be drinkable!

I look forward to a tasting review.

I made homebrew when I was at Uni – it was so bad we had to mix it 50:50 with real beer.
    Fairly potent though.,

I’ll let you all know how good (or bad) it turns out. Today is supposed to hit 37C so temperature control will be crucial!
