The Princess and The Terrorist

The Princess says please and thank you. She says excuse me when she burps. She shares and when she gets a drink or a snack or a treat, she always gets one for her brother. She calls herself Princess Bella and she loves looking at herself in the mirror. She goes to bed when told and always smiles and laughs, even when she is ill.

The Terrorist throws tantrums. He whines. He doesn’t share. He forgets to say please and thank you. He likes to repeat everything you say – parrot fashion. He has multiple personalities in Spiderman, Thomas the Tank Engine, Ben 10, Jo- Jo or Joshua. He picks his nose and eats it. He digs up the garden with his ‘big trucks and diggers’.

The Princess also throws tantrums. She whines. She draws on the walls (something the terrorist never did except that one time on the TV). She never stops talking but I guess that goes without saying since she is female. She is obsessed with shoes!

The Terrorist loves ‘helping’ his mum in the kitchen and his dad in the garden. He can count and knows the whole alphabet. He knows the name of every train in the Thomas the Tank Engine series. He sorts his clothes into neat little piles before getting into the bath – 1 for dirty clothes to be washed, 1 for clean clothes to be worn again.

These are our kids and we love them in good times and in bad!

Don’t joke about the terrorist thing – you’ll never get him back to the UK – even for a visit.
