Well, after all the snow in London, it’s great to be sun-burnt! We’ve just entered the second week of our holiday in Egypt, and it’s been just great!!!
Last week was pretty much spent in the Red Sea. I did 10 magnificent dives on 10 different sites – unfortunately I didn’t get to dive on The Thistlegorm like I wanted to! Anyway, when I get back home, I will post some dive photos.
Tomorrow we are off to Luxor to see the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens and the Karnak Temple. I missed that the last time I was in Egypt. I’m really looking forward to it.
The rest of the week we will spend on the beach topping up our tans from last week. The temperature has been in the high 20’s and low 30’s and we both have a nice colour.
Everything is really cheap over here and the exchange rate to the GBP is 11 to 1 which helps. We have been eating out almost every night spending between US$5 and US$20 on a meal for two with drinks!
