I’ve just ordered myself 3 Australian GeoCoins 2008. They should arrive in the next 8 weeks!
They are very beautiful too.

The bird on the 2008 side is an Emu. The other side (Australia map) will be engraved with my cache nickname and a tracking number.
The coin is 1.75 inches in diameter with 3D high relief gold plated, transparent hard enamel and glow enamel star.
Can’t wait to receive them!

After a crash with my mountain bike in January, I haven’t been doing much caching. But that all changed this week – I got my ‘new’ GPS back and discovered some fantastic software that I can use on my Nokia 6110 for cache-hunting!
My new Garmin works much better than the old one. It picks up signal a lot quicker and much better than the old one.
As for my Nokia, I have installed Trimble’s fantastic GeoCache Navigator. It means that I can cache whenever and wherever I want as long as I have signal on my phone. It’s fast and easy to use and as a Sales Manager, I travel quite a bit around the city so I cache whenever I get the chance.
If you have a Nokia phone, the software is free to download and use.
