I spent the last weekend in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. While there I managed to drag my mate, Dazzler, and my other half around to look for caches.
The first one that we found was Admiral 3. Hidden near a small Orthodox Church quite near the port, this one was quite easy. I also dropped off a travel bug, Welsh Whale (Beluga) , here.
Next we moved on to Fat Margaret, the name of the tower ‘guarding’ the old town. This, too, was quite an easy find except that there was a man relieving himself near the cache, so we had to wait a short while.
On day two I went in search alone for Eve while the others had lunch. Again an easy find, but in a very public place and quite hard to get to and to re-hide after signing the log book.
The last cache in Tallinn was the hardest. It was quite small and very well hidden. It was also down an alleyway which affected the GPS signal quite badly. Dazzler eventually spotted it at about 2m height in a small hole in the wall.
