OK, so the rugby season started a few weeks ago but, no offence to the Northern Hemisphere, the real rugby starts now! Tri Nations 2008!
We may have lost our first game to the Kiwis (ending our 14 match unbeaten run), but we still were the better team on Saturday. Their forwards performed much better than ours, but their backs looked very flat-footed and slow (except for Carter). OK, I know it was raining, but Habana still had a show with a fantastic try, so rain is no excuse.
I look forward to the game this weekend and even more so the weekend after as I am actually flying to Perth to watch the Boks play Australia.
The Aussies put on a good show against the French, but the way they played over the past few weeks will get them slaughtered by the Boks and the Kiwis!
It was a very disappointing show in Perth; lets just hope they pull it together for the rest of the tournament, eh? In fairness to the Wallabies, they played well on Saturday. I still agree with you that the Boks are the better team though, Cuz.
