Today is D-day. I start my 28 day Feb Fast, no alcohol, detox month. The plan was to detox for the month of February, but I had to wait until today as it was my brother-in-law’s birthday last night and we had a BBQ and a few beers around their place. I didn’t want to seem rude and turn down his hospitality!
Of course, now that I’m detoxing I will miss out on the Local Taphouse in St Kilda’s Beer SpecTapular on February 12th. I will also have to suffer through my beer brewing club’s Annual Belgian Beer Competition and my wife’s work Christmas Party which is next weekend!
It’s going to be a long month…
