A new addition

So it finally arrived! We ordered it on the 28th of June, but Deb wanted Sea Grey which wasn’t in stock. The dealer told us “2 weeks” followed by “2 more weeks” and then it was “next week”. Well, it finally arrived in Melbourne (from Germany) on the 9th of August and we took delivery on Thursday.

I had been told that it would be available on Wednesday, so I went to pick it up then. I did all the paperwork, picked up the keys and was about to drive out when the salesman told me that the finance company hadn’t made the payment yet. I rang them and they tried to tell me that I hadn’t sent them the paperwork! I had, their mistake, but I had to wait another 24 hours so that they could pay Ford!

It will be Deb’s little commuter.

That would also explain the late delivery.

Awesome! Deb has good taste. I wanted one of these too but ended up with a Toyota instead. Let me know how she likes it… my next car may well be a Fiesta 🙂
