The sandpit

Last weekend we had some beautiful sunshine which was the perfect time to dive back into the garden and prepare for summer.

We decided that it was time to build the kids a sandpit so that they would stop digging up my vege garden and flower beds.

This is the end result. If you want to know how I did it, you can read all about it here.

Nice job! I can’t believe you had such good weather after we left. Bah humbug. Ah well, the good news (for us anyway) is that we finally found the warmth we were after in Brisbane..!

Nice job, but… Do you have any cats in your neighbourhood?
They’re going to love that sandpit. I speak from bitter experience.

@Terri: Good to hear you are settling in. Did you get rugby tickets yet?
@6000: I have a nice heavy wooden cover for it! We have half a dozen feral cats that roam the yards around our place.

    Not bad for a pen-pusher!

@Dad: You can do anything when you have brains to help you on your way…
