TGI Friday

So the weekend looms once again. Thank gawd! It’s been a long week.

Tomorrow it’s off to another game of rugby in the early afternoon followed by some beer(s) with the boys and Sunday we are visiting some Saffa friends for lunch. That leaves tonight and tomorrow night to fill.

Now if I didn’t have 2 little kids, I’d be down the pub, out for a delicious meal or maybe even catch a new movie, but the two kids don’t always play the game. They’re not naughty or anything, they just have infinite energy and don’t sit still for more than fifteen seconds at a time. We don’t even get to eat meals in peace anymore. If Josh isn’t arguing over which spot he wants at the table then Isi is casting her food onto the ground ‘cos she’s had enough.

Looks like it’ll have to be a night of Ten-pin bowling on the Wii again…

BTW, if the server is running slowly or it took ages to load this page, apologies. Apparently they are moving the servers or something techy like that!

Now you know how I felt 35 years ago! And we didn’t have such things like Wii & TV.

Ag shame Cuz… mind you, I spend most Friday nights on the couch with TV or DVD’s and we don’t even have small kids any more 😉 Maybe we’s just gettin’ old. Tellya what, I’ll drag our butts down to the pub for some pool-playing tonight & have a beer on your behalf, ‘kay? Sheesh, the sacrifices we make for our family…

@Dad: You may not have had TV and Wii, but I do remember some wicked parties at our house. Every weekend!
@Terri: I hope you enjoyed the pub for us. Old? Not me… ok, maybe just a little!
